Esco's lead screw refurbishing service offers new lead screw performance at less than half the cost of new. Pitch diameter taper is restored to original condition and thread flanks are ground to precise tolerances. Our standard “R1” and “R2” classes assure interchangeability with replacement nuts and feature substantially less backlash than competitive products.

Chucks
We rebuild lathe chucks to like-new condition. We'll match original OEM specs or add modifications to fit your special requirements and tooling. Our staff will take an existing chuck down to parts and rebuild it better than you thought possible, for less than the price of a new chuck. Lathe chuck repairs are the heart of our business. We will repair your old, worn chucks or actuators for less than the replacement cost of new. Our skilled repair specialists will restore chuck tolerances and performance to original OEM specifications - We quote on repairs for nearly every make and model, foreign or domestic, including independent, scroll, power wrench, wedge, air and hydraulic chucks. We handle virtually any diameter size - from 6 inches to 8 feet. We even repair models that are no longer manufactured.
During repair/rebuild, the lathe chuck manufacturer's original specifications are adhered to. Components are brought back to specifications equal to or better than new chuck. Body ways are ground perpendicular, parallel and square typical to one another. Jaws are fit to within .0005" and wedge fit to body bore to .001."
